Welcome Camosun students to the Langford Campus Student Commons!
Space & amenities
The Langford Student Commons has a variety of study spaces available, including spaces appropriate for group work and individual study. Camosun students are welcome to use a variety of the study spaces available in the student commons. Meeting rooms are bookable by Camosun students, and Camosun students are welcome to use any meeting room that is unoccupied and not booked.
There is also a student lounge on the 3rd floor room 315, that can be used to prepare and eat food, as well as vending machines with a variety of drinks and snacks on the 1st floor.
The Student Commons offers a variety of items for in-library use, including:
- White board markers & erasers
- Phone chargers
- Noise-cancelling headphones
Borrowing books
Camosun students can request books from Camosun College Langford - Library Request Form be couriered to the Langford Student Commons at no cost.
Camosun students are also eligible for an RRU Library community borrower card. This card allows Camosun students to borrow print books from RRU Library's main collection at the Colwood campus. Cardholders may borrow up to 7 items at a time for a 30-day loan period.
To apply for a library card, stop by the Student Commons desk, identify yourself as a Camosun student, and show your government-issued or Camosun Student ID.
Printing and scanning

Visit Camosun Libraries online for research services
The Camosun Library has collections and services tailored to Camosun students' research and writing needs and provide access to subscription databases. Please visit the Camosun Library website for help finding scholarly articles, books, and ebooks.
