An annotated bibliography is a bibliography that includes not only a citation formatted in the style requested for the assignment for each piece of literature, but an annotation that summarizes information about the citation. This annotation should be between 150-300 words and might include a short analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of a piece, its conclusions, and connections to your work. See a few examples here: https://www.lib.sfu.ca/help/cite-write/citation-style-guides/annotated-bibliography

While the RRU Librarians can help you access literature for your annotated bibliography, we are not experts in writing the annotated bibliography. For help with writing your annotated bibliography, please book an appointment with RRU's Writing Centre or ask them a question via the WriteAnswers system. For help getting started with your search for literature, please visit the Library's Getting Started With Research guide
