If you begin your search directly from a publisher's website, rather than from the RRU Library, you may encounter an option to sign in via your institution that looks like the below example with Elsevier.

Attempting to 'sign in via your institution' by this method will only work if RRU Library subscribes to the resource. If we don't subscribe, the resulting error will look similar to the one below:

Instead, start your search from the RRU Library and type the article or book title into our Discovery search tool to see if we have it. This will ensure you authenticate as an RRU student, faculty, or staff member via our single sign-on. You'll be prompted to enter your RRU username and password (the same username and password you use to access Moodle).

Still not able to find or access what you need?

Please let us know so we can help. We can request articles and books through our interlibrary loan service if necessary.

We also recommend adding our Lean Library browser extension.

This tool gives you quick and simple access to materials licensed by RRU Library directly through your internet searches, plus, if we don't have the article in our collection you'll be prompted to submit a interlibrary loan request (with a pop up as shown below). The advantage here is that the ILL form is prepopulated with the article details, and so this should save you some time.
