The Royal Roads library does not have a subscription to Refworks. It is possible to sign up for an individual account on the Refworks website. That might be worthwhile if you are familiar with Refworks already, but if not then I suggest you first look at some free alternatives. There are several freely available services that perform the same functions as Refworks, as well as Refworks performs those functions, but often with added benefits such as the ability to create personal profiles and join collegial networks.

The two tools we recommend and support are Mendeley and Zotero.

The RRU library has created guides to using Mendeley and Zotero, and we can provide support on how they work, although it is also useful to understand that Mendeley and Zotero are both robust services with extensive support communities. There are lots of tutorials on Youtube.
