I am trying to access DLI information from a home computer and it is asking me for a username and password.

I am trying to access Data Liberation Initiative information from a home computer and it is asking for a StatsCan password. Do I need a special account to access DLI information?

Answer

As an RRU student, your access to Statistics Canada's DLI files is mediated by the RRU Library. We will need to retrieve the file(s) for you and pass it / them along.

DLI files sourced through the RRU Library can only be used in pursuit of academic research. You may not use the files in connection with any paid or financially profitable work. If you have any questions about this restriction, please let the RRU librarians know.
