Answer

During a residency the RRU Library’s copy of a required textbook will get placed on reserve.  Reserve items are held at the service desk in the library and can be borrowed for a shorter loan period (typically a 1-day loan). They cannot be renewed to ensure equity in access for all learners in the program while they’re on campus.

Also, to ensure books on reserve are not kept for more than their allotted time, heftier fines are temporarily placed on these items.
