Is this article peer-reviewed?
Peer-reviewed articles have been evaluated by researchers and experts in the academic community prior to publication. To determine if an article is truly peer reviewed:
1. Check to see if the article is in Scopus - a database of peer reviewed article citations.
2. Google the title of the journal and navigate to its website. Look for information about the peer-review process often under a section entitled "About this Journal". Or, look for a section that outlines submission guidelines for authors.
3. Check out our libguide for information on identifying academic articles.
