How do I borrow or access online ebooks from the library?

There is a library guide on ebooks at  To find ebooks, use the Discovery search tool on the RRU library homepage at entering key words or the specific title of a book. 

On the results page, narrow your search by clicking on the books/ebooks link. Once you have found a particular title in the ebook format, click on the 'View online' link that will take you to the database where the ebook is stored.

Ebook Central ebooks can be downloaded for a specific period of time. For this vendor you will need to create your own account. Guidance on the process is provided under the relevant tabs in the ebook guide. Books on the Books 24 X 7 platform can only be accessed online. Most of the other vendors allow you to download chapters for printing or reading off-line. You can also just read the ebooks online without having to sign in.
